Job Description: Optical Films Internship
Liquidia Technologies Inc. is a privately-held nanotechnology company that designs, develops, and manufactures precisely engineered particles and films for a wide variety of life and materials science applications. Liquidia's proprietary PRINT
® platform is unique in its ability to replicate and produce nanoscale features with independent control of feature size, shape, and composition.
We are currently looking for an Optical Films Intern to play a critical role in advancing our materials science prototyping and daily optical films fabrication efforts.
Description:
The Optical Films Intern will assist the Liquidia Optical Films team with various tasks and projects. Primary responsibilities include:

Work with a team to develop and deliver customer-ready samples of precisely engineered optical films |

Support internal R&D efforts and contribute to new product development |
 |
Work in a hands-on laboratory environment to fabricate micro- and nano-featured films |
Requirements:
 |
Must be detail-oriented, thorough, self-motivated and willing to work in a hands-on environment |
 |
Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply |
 |
Academic or industry experience in optical films, displays, or related industry (preferred) |
 |
M.S. or equivalent industry experience in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science related field |
 |
Ability to work independently and as a team |
 |
Experience with optical measurements, and cleanroom tools and processing (preferred) |
 |
Experience with SEM and/or AFM (preferred) |
